Happy September! This week’s Lost In Thoughts is inspired by back to school. I live between Boston University and Boston College, so I’m acutely aware of the return of the college students. Tuesday was moving day, so the start of school can’t be far behind. In fact, I believe many area elementary, middle, and high schools started yesterday. Everywhere I go there are back to school sales and promotions, so it’s definitely been on my mind!

Instead of paying big bucks for a fancy glass dome and specialty plants, you can just go on a scavenger hunt around your house or neighborhood and have your own charming terrarium in a matter of minutes. Every time I go to Black Ink I have to resist the (very strong) urge to buy this tray. I. Just. Love. It. There is something so nostalgic and amazing about this product. The seafoam green, the compartments for food, drink, and utensils, and the overall awesomeness just get me. Come on, wouldn’t it be cool at a dinner party? (Yes, yes it would.)
