I’ve been thinking about ways to keep better track of my custom projects and goals. I decided that a chalkboard would do the trick. At first I thought I’d just buy some chalkboard paint and paint a piece of wood. Then I found this tutorial from Martha Stewart with step-by-step instructions for making your own chalkboard paint in any color you desire! Since I already had some paint left over from a previous project, I opted to make my own.
It was an easy; I just mixed up the paint and painted a cheap piece of wood. Now all of my custom design work projects are on display so I can keep track of my deadlines and my progress. Bonus: I think it looks pretty cool and spices of my workspace.
