Hello! Yesterday I was reading the blog Carrots ‘n’ Cake, and I loved Tina’s post about prom season. She inspired me to share pictures from my own senior prom with you! Can you tell that I’ve always been a fan of the color orange? I loved my prom dress. I felt so pretty, and that’s really…

Hey there. As I was collecting ideas for today’s inspiration post, I happened upon a number of things that struck me as bold and beautiful (now I’m thinking about a soap opera that I’ve never seen!). These are statement pieces. Double Breasted Wool Olga Coat from Red Doll’s Etsy shop Oh goodness. Please, can I…

What an amazing collection of finds April! I am DROOOOOOOLING over that typewriter which is sold, puff, gone now. I love your little reverie too.
I am imagining myself full of energy and good health in a tidy home cheerfully baking, cooking, and wrapping all my purchased gifts. In other words, the complete opposite of my reality! (sick, in bed, not a single thing purchased yet).
Jess, I know! I was so disappointed when I found out that the typewriter had been sold, but it was WAY out of my price range anyway. At least I can look at the pretty picture.
Thanks for imagining with me! Isn’t is a great way to spend some time (even if you are sick)?
that typewriter is to die for and i love that it says ‘valentine’!
i know! i love it.

I’m seriously considering buying that dress! So cool! Something like that would be awesome for all your HBS events! One time investment and lots of different looks.
I like that dress too.

Omigosh this post is amazing. I love how you realized the connecting thread at the end. The book for your gramma sounds amazing. I wish I had done something like that before my grandma died.
I have a blog crush on Katie too. She is amazingly creative. I fell in love with some stuff at J. Crew recently. Like flip flops.
