Monday, August 30th, 2010

Hey you guys, I’m really exited about my first newsletter. I’ll be sending it out on Wednesday, and if you’d like to get in on the action you can sign up right here.

I will only be sending one newsletter per month (or maybe every other month), unless there’s some spectacular news that you just must know about. I will share news about new products (hint hint), sales, and other goings-on here at the Everything Little Miss headquarters. I promise I won’t ever share your email with anybody else and that there will always be a little pop of orange to make you smile!

lost in thoughts #20

Thursday, August 27th, 2009

Welcome back for the 20th installment of Lost In Thoughts. I can’t believe I’ve been doing this for 5-ish months already! Here’s what I’ve been looking at this week:

I saw this photo the other day, and I’ve been thinking about it ever since. A flip like that takes guts. This picture really captures the beauty of the human body. Just wow.

school girl dollsSchool girl dolls from Mimi Kirchner’s Etsy

These little dolls with their perfect little bags are rockin’. I love how they’re all dressed for school and look feminine without looking “girly.” The details are wonderful; look at the hair and the collars and the teeny tiny buttons! Delightful.

The handmade dolls are from Mimi Kirchner’s Etsy Shop, and can be found here and here.

Icelandic horses in North Holland by BenIcelandic horses in North Holland by Ben Visbeek

Fuzzy horses make me smile. If you look closely, you can also see a little rabbit on the right there. And the moon and a windmill. Is this a fairy tale? Sure looks like one! I wish I could jump right into this picture and continue my day from that gorgeously grassy field. Look at more of Visbeek’s photos on his flickr photostream.

“Incomplete Lullaby” is a sad song by Australian singer, Lisa Mitchell. I like the stop motion animation and twinkling lights in the music video, and I think she’s got a lovely voice. Some of my favorite lines from this song are:

The stars looked like burning sparks
The lights were warm but chilling
You left me feeling

Lisa Mitchell was a finalist on the 2006 season of Australian Idol.

You may have noticed that I featured 2 new designs on the blog this week. They’ve also been added to my shop. I’ll be adding more of the new designs in the coming days, so stay tuned!

Thanks so much for reading, and please share your inspirations in the comments!

muchas gracias folded card (set of 8)

Tuesday, August 25th, 2009

As you know, I’ve got 6 new designs. I decided to share this one first, because I know some people are waiting for a folded thank you note set (as opposed to a flat card set).

2009-08-25 ELM 032_edit

“Muchas gracias,” the Spanish for “thank you very much,” is a great phrase; more than a simple thanks, but not over the top. Gratitude is beautiful in every language.

The 3 1/2″ x 4 7/8″ (4 bar) design is perfect for a quick note. There’s enough room to say as much as you need. However, if you’re at a loss for words, just write a little bigger and it will look like you had a lot to say!

This set of 8 cards and white envelopes comes tied with a bow.

The cards are printed on 100% recycled paper.

To purchase, visit my shop or contact me.

six new designs on the way

Saturday, August 15th, 2009

Yesterday I placed an order with my printer, and I’ll be introducing 6 new designs in the next few weeks. You will see additions to the following collections:

The new cards will all be printed on 100% recycled paper.

I’ve also been working on holiday cards (can you believe it?), but I won’t be introduing those until it’s a little cooler outside!

mixed thank you set now available

Friday, July 10th, 2009

This set of 6 flat cards includes 3 different designs (2 of each):

025 set1

Gracias
These notes feature the color orange, my favorite! “Gracias” is Spanish for “thank you.”

Merci
This design is printed on blue paper. “Merci” is French for “thank you.”

Danke
This was one of my first designs for Everything Little Miss. “Danke” is German for “thank you.”

Giving thanks is so important, and it’s beautiful in every language.

The 3.5″ x 4.875″ (4 bar) design is perfect for a quick note. There’s enough room to say as much as you need. However, if you’re at a loss for words, just write a little bigger and it will look like you had a lot to say!

A thank you note goes a long way, so it can never hurt to have a few on hand. This set includes 6 cards and white envelopes tied with a length of soft twine.
