custom design: appointment postcards for dr. forman

Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010

I designed this appointment postcards for Dr. Forman, a local dentist. He had a very clear idea about what he wanted, and I enjoyed collaborating with him and making his vision come to life.

I made the dental floss swoop into a “smile” and I changed the buttons on the phone so they’d look like dental tools (toothpick, toothbrush, toothpaste, & dental mirror). I really like the gentle reminder on the back that you “better start flossing now.” Ha!

personalized stationery: ellie

I had such fun with this design. Ellie is a newborn, and I worked with her mom, Maura, to create monogrammed stationery for her.

Maura liked the stationery I designed for Margot, so I used that as a jumping-off point.

She also knew that she wanted to use pink and navy blue in the monogram.

The cards measure 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ (A2).

We also printed a matching return address on the back flap of the envelopes (not shown).

Thank you Maura, it was a pleasure to work with you!

personalized stationery: margot

Tuesday, August 11th, 2009

I just shipped this personalized stationery yesterday. It was commissioned as a gift for Margot, a resident of  lovely Martha’s Vineyard.

Many of the homes on the Vineyard have names, and Margot lives in one called Seventh Heaven. The font used on the front of the card replicates the sign on the front of her house.

The color palette also matches the sign that hangs over her front door, and the seashell design captures the beachy lifestyle.

Margot’s name and address are found on the inside of the card.

The last photo shows the back of the card. Below the Everything Little Miss logo, I’ve personalized the stationery line so people will know it was designed just for Margot.
